Salty Grapes Session Information
Salty Grapes specializes in on-location, natural light photography. Your session can take place wherever you feel most comfortable - your home, a park, a garden, the beach... Morning and evening light are best, avoiding bright sun as much as possible. Colors pop on even the cloudiest of days. Indoor portraits are available as well.
Sessions generally last 1-2 hours, depending on location, weather, and a myriad of other factors. Feel free to bring any books, music, toys, treats, or stuffed animals to keep all two-legged and four-legged ones happy.
The holidays are a magnificent time for family portraits. As it is the busiest time of year, start planning as early as August and make your appointment as soon as possible.
If you, your child, or your pet is feeling under the weather, please call or email us to reschedule. We understand that these things happen, and we do want you at your best. If you must cancel, please try to do so at least within 48 hours of your scheduled session.

A $75 session fee is due at the time of your session. This session fee includes travel within Connecticut, the photographer’s creative time during your session, all post-session editing and preparation, and organization of a private online gallery of 30-50 proofs. The session fee covers up to 5 people/pets; add $10 for each additional subject. The session fee does not include prints. Simple, uncomplicated, and comfortable clothing is a must! Try to avoid wild patterns, prints, logos or anything potentially distracting to the eye. Dark or light solid shirts photograph well with khaki or denim. For group portraits, similar styles and colors really tie a photo together.
Approximately 30-50 images will be available roughly 12-14 business days after your session in an online password-protected proofing gallery. This gallery will be available for 30 days. Please use this time to choose and order your prints as it will automatically expire. Your images will be archived, and re-instating a gallery will be subject to a $25.00 fee. Images will remain on file for a year if you require additional prints.

Please do not save the online images from the proof gallery as they are downsized for web viewing, watermarked, and not suitable for printing.
